Détenu dans un camp perdu dans la jungle, Bizot est accusé d'être un espion de la CIA. Sa seule chance de salut, convaincre Douch, le jeune chef du camp, de son innocence. Tandis que le Français découvre la réalité de l'embrigadement des Khmers rouges, se construit entre le prisonnier et son geôlier un lien indéfinissable.

Detained in a camp in the middle of the jungle, Bizot is accused of spying for the CIA. His only hope of survival is to convince Douch, the young head of the camp, that he is innocent. While the Frenchman discovers the reality of Khmer Rouge indoctrination, an indefinable bond develops between the prisoner and his jailer...
