Both a gallery, exhibition space, artist residency, and collective, Sra’Art is a long-standing partner of Photo Phnom Penh. The space supports both local and international artists. The group exhibition proposed for the 2025 edition of the festival celebrates the spirit and diversity of Cambodia. The eight photographers from Asia and Europe brought together for this event collectively offer a multifaceted portrait of the country’s cultural, spiritual, and natural heritage.

Some focused on temples, historic buildings, and community spaces that continue to shape the nation’s collective identity, while others chose to document the relationship between people, land, and landscapes. The photographs also reveal symbols, rituals, and everyday practices that embody the essence of Khmer culture. Through images of traditional crafts, objects, and gestures rooted in daily life, the artists show how spirituality is embedded in the ordinary. Scenes of work highlight shared skills and traditions, inviting viewers to interpret the soul of Cambodia through its culture, art, and history, and to understand its ongoing transformations.

À la fois galerie, espace d’exposition, résidence et collectif artistique, Sra’Art est un fidèle partenaire de Photo Phnom Penh. L’espace soutient aussi bien les artistes locaux qu’internationaux. L’exposition collective proposée pour l’édition 2025 du festival célèbre l’esprit et la diversité du Cambodge. Les huit photographes venus d’Asie et d’Europe réunis pour cet événement dressent collectivement un portrait multiple du patrimoine culturel, spirituel et naturel du pays.

Certains se sont intéressés aux temples, aux bâtiments historiques et aux lieux communautaires qui continuent de façonner l’identité collective de la nation, tandis que d’autres ont choisi de témoigner de la relation entre les habitants, la terre et les paysages. Les photographies exposées donnent également à voir les symboles, les rituels et les pratiques quotidiennes qui incarnent l’essence de la culture khmère. À travers des images d’artisanat traditionnel, d’objets et de gestes ancrés dans la vie quotidienne, les artistes montrent comment la spiritualité s’inscrit dans l’ordinaire. Les scènes de travail mettent en valeur les savoir-faire et les traditions partagés, et invitent à interpréter l’âme du Cambodge à travers sa culture, son art et son histoire, et à appréhender ses transformations.
