Une table ronde autour du travail sur le son des films de la sélection, avec les cinéastes Antoinette Jadaone (Sunshine) et Kiyé Simon Luang (Goodbye Mister Wong), et Vincent Villa, qui a signé le sound design de Sunshine, Tenement et This City is a Battlefield. 

La cinéaste et réalisatrice philippine Antoinette Jadaone est connue pour des histoires qui font parler, remportent des prix et façonnent la culture philippine. Ses films mettent régulièrement en avant des femmes — imparfaites, attachantes et d'une complexité féroce. Exilé alors qu'il était enfant, Kiyé Simon Luang a quitté le Laos pour la France sans savoir qu'il laisserait sa famille derrière lui. Depuis ses premières incursions dans l'art, il n'a cessé de revisiter ses origines et son exil. Vincent Villa s'est rendu au Cambodge en 2010 alors qu'il travaillait sur le documentaire Golden Slumbers de Davy Chou. Depuis, il est devenu un collaborateur majeur de la société de production cambodgienne ANTI-ARCHIVE, et a fondé avec le producteur Loy Te Kongchak Studio, un studio de post-production audio basé à Phnom Penh.

A roundtable discussion about the sound work in the films of the selection, with filmmakers Antoinette Jadaone (Sunshine) and Kiyé Simon Luang (Goodbye Mister Wong), and Vincent Villa, who designed the sound for Sunshine, Tenement and This City is a Battlefield.

Filipino filmmaker and director Antoinette Jadaone is known for stories that spark conversations, win awards, and shape Filipino culture. Her films have consistently centered women—flawed, relatable, and fiercely complex. Exiled as a child, Kiyé Simon Luang left Laos for France without knowing he would leave his family behind. Since his first forays into art, he has constantly revisited his origins and his exile. Vincent Villa visited Cambodia in 2010 while working on the documentary Golden Slumbers by Davy Chou. Since then, he has become a major collaborator of the Cambodian production company ANTI-ARCHIVE, and founded with producer Loy Te Kongchak Studio, an audio post-production studio based in Phnom Penh.
