Incontournable de la scène photographique d’Asie du Sud-Est, la 16 ème édition du festival Photo Phnom Penh se tiendra du 19 novembre au 19 décembre 2025, au cœur de la capitale cambodgienne. Né en 2008 à l’initiative du Centre culturel français, devenu aujourd’hui l’Institut français du Cambodge, le festival Photo Phnom Penh, fidèle à son esprit d’échange et de découverte, poursuit son chemin en 2025 et s’affirme plus que jamais comme une plateforme de dialogue entre l’Europe et l’Asie. Pensé tant pour les artistes émergents que confirmés, sans oublier le grand public, il est aussi le terrain d’interactions fécondes entre les différents genres de la photographie.

L’édition 2025 réunit œuvres historiques et création contemporaine, une temporalité longue qui permet de penser la photographie dans son rapport au passé, au présent et à l’avenir. Entre mémoire et création, document et fiction, transmission et réinvention, le programme touche à des questions essentielles : comment les images influencent-elles notre manière de voir et de nous souvenir ? Comment nous permettent-elles de raconter le monde et d’agir sur lui ? À travers leurs œuvres, les photographes exposés posent un regard singulier sur le monde : récits personnels, questions de mémoire, préoccupations écologiques, engagement artistique ou documentaire. A must-see event on the Southeast Asian photography scene, the 16th edition of the Photo Phnom Penh festival will take place from November 19 to December 19, 2025, in the heart of the Cambodian capital. Born in 2008 on the initiative of the French Cultural Center, now the French Institute of Cambodia, the Photo Phnom Penh festival, true to its spirit of exchange and discovery, continues its journey in 2025 and asserts itself more than ever as a platform for dialogue between Europe and Asia. Designed for both emerging and established artists, as well as the general public, it is also a fertile ground for interactions between different genres of photography.

The 2025 edition brings together historical works and contemporary creation, a long temporality that allows us to think about photography in its relationship to the past, present, and future. Between memory and creation, document and fiction, transmission and reinvention, the program touches on essential questions: how do images influence the way we see and remember? How do they allow us to tell the story of the world and act upon it? Through their works, the exhibited photographers cast a unique gaze on the world: personal narratives, questions of memory, ecological concerns, artistic or documentary commitment. Take the time to look, to question, to imagine.

ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍រូបថតប្រចាំតំបន់អាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ ដែលមិនគួររំលងនោះគឺ មហោស្រពរូបថតភ្នំពេញលើកទី ១៦ នឹងប្រព្រឹត្តទៅចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី ១៩ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ដល់ថ្ងៃទី ១៩ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ នៅចំកណ្តាលរាជធានីទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញនៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ មហោស្រពរូបថតភ្នំពេញ ដែលកើតនៅឆ្នាំ ២០០៨ តាមគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមរបស់មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលវប្បធម៌បារាំង ដែលឥឡូវនេះជាវិទ្យាស្ថានបារាំងនៅកម្ពុជា បន្តដំណើររបស់ខ្លួនដល់ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ អះអាងខ្លួនថា នេះជាវេទិកាសម្រាប់ការកិច្ចសន្ទនារវាងអឺរ៉ុប និងអាស៊ី។ ត្រូវបានរចនាឡើងសម្រាប់ទាំងសិល្បករថ្មីថ្មោង និងសិល្បករល្បីឈ្មោះ ក៏ដូចជាសាធារណជនទូទៅ វាក៏ជាដីមានជីជាតិសម្រាប់អន្តរកម្មរវាងប្រភេទផ្សេងៗគ្នានៃការថតរូបផងដែរ។

សម្រាប់ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ នេះ នឹងនាំមកនូវស្នាដៃប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ និងការបង្កើតសហសម័យ ដែលអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យយើងគិតអំពីរូបថតនៅក្នុងទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងនឹងអតីតកាល បច្ចុប្បន្នកាល និងអនាគត។ រវាងការចងចាំ និងការបង្កើត, ឯកសារ និងរឿងប្រឌិត, ការបញ្ជូន និងការច្នៃប្រឌិតឡើងវិញ មហោស្រពនេះចោទលើសំណួរសំខាន់ៗ៖ តើរូបថតទាំងនេះមានឥទ្ធិពលយ៉ាងដូចម្តេចលើរបៀបដែលយើងមើលឃើញ និងចងចាំ? តើ​រូបថតទាំងនេះ ​អនុញ្ញាត​ឱ្យ​យើង​រៀបរាប់​រឿងរ៉ាវ​នៃ​ពិភពលោក និង​ធ្វើ​សកម្មភាព​លើ​វា​ដោយ​របៀប​ណា? តាមរយៈ​ស្នាដៃ​របស់សិល្បករ ស្នាដៃ​ដែល​បាន​ដាក់តាំង​បង្ហាញ​បាន​សម្លឹង​មើល​ពិភពលោក​យ៉ាង​ពិសេស៖ និទានកថា​ផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន សំណួរ​នៃ​ការចងចាំ កង្វល់​អំពី​បរិស្ថាន ​ផ្នែក​សិល្បៈ ឬ​ការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្ដក្នុងការចងក្រងឯកសារ។ ចំណាយពេល​មកទស្សនា ដើម្បី​ចោទសួរ ដើម្បី​ស្រមៃពីចម្លើយ។
