Michael Laub and Vanthy Khen present A LITTLE BIT OVER THE PLACE at the Chenla Theatre! This performance fuses traditional Khmer dance, contemporary dance, and social media. Performed by nine artists, the work illustrates the long-term collaboration between the Belgian avant-garde director and the Cambodian choreographer. An explosive and profoundly original creation, A Little Bit All Over the Place combines contemporary stagecraft with the rigor of classical Khmer dance, set to music by Mute Speaker and the visual world of TikTok. A work that blurs the lines between genres.
