The first contemporary theatre festival in Cambodia, the GOLDEN (R)AGE Performing Art Festival, was born from the desire to showcase the
talents of a new generation of Cambodian actors trained at The Last Stage, the festival's organizer. Launched as a
Year Zero in 2025, the festival is now entering its first official year! The French Institute of Cambodia is proud to support this major
cultural event in the Cambodian capital.
A total of 13 performances await you from June 4th to 14th, 2026, in various cultural venues across Phnom Penh: The Last Stage; Aquation
Theatre; The Last Stage Riverside; Factory Phnom Penh; the French Institute of Cambodia; the Chenla Theatre; Friends Futures Factory (F3);
and the SOSORO Museum. Artists, directors, writers, choreographers, and circus performers from around the world are in Cambodia for this
inaugural edition of the GOLDEN (R)AGE Performing Art Festival: we look forward to seeing you there!
