The Cannes Film Festival is back in Phnom Penh!

For this 5th edition of Cannes in Phnom Penh, the French Institute of Cambodia, Fable Cinema and Legend Cinema are joining forces to roll out the Cannes red carpet in Phnom Penh: from May 14 to 25, 2025, come and share the thrill of the screenings shown in La Croisette! True to our mission of bringing the seventh art to life with passion, this international program, which is accompanied by English subtitles, is designed to showcase new talents and, above all, promote the most innovative cinematographic creation, by offering films that are difficult to access in Cambodia to Cambodian and international audiences.

The program will feature 17 films from the official selection, including Anora, winner of the 2024 Palme d'Or and the 2025 Oscar for Best Film, and Emilia Pérez, winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes 2024. A selection of classic French masterpieces awarded at Cannes, as well as animated films, is also on offer, for the enjoyment of our audiences of all ages.

Come share with us this celebration of cinema, where emotion and discovery are intensely experienced at the Institut français and in partner theaters Fable Cinema and Legend Cinema – Olympia Mall!

Single fare of $3 per screening. 
Please be aware that tickets for the IFC screenings are available for purchase on the Institute's website. For screenings at Fable Cinema and Legend Cinema Olympia Mall, tickets must be purchased directly from the theaters.
