For this 6th edition of Cannes in Phnom Penh, the French Institute of Cambodia and Legend Cinema are joining forces to roll
out the Cannes red carpet in Phnom Penh once more: from May 13 to May 24, 2026, come and share the thrill of the Croisette screenings!
True to our mission of passionately promoting the art of cinema, this international program is designed to showcase new talent and, above
all, promote the most innovative filmmaking, by offering films that are difficult to access in Cambodia to Cambodian and international
audiences.
Over 11 days, the festival will offer 34 screenings featuring 24 films from more than 12 countries,
illustrating the diversity and richness of international cinema. The selection is structured around five main themes: the opening with Couture,
in the presence of director Alice Winocour; the Official Selection of Cannes 2025 – 15 films; 4 Cannes Classics screenings;
2 animated films; and finally, 2 films from the Directors' Fortnight selection.
